Actually, the University of Genoa has been designed by European Commission and Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as National Coordinating Structure for the promotion of Italian higher level educational offer in Asia regions. The existing international cooperation concerns the field of research and didactic, with many scientific bilateral and multilateral agreements and European Union projects. Aiming at intensifying and increasing these relationships in the near future, we promote as coordinating institution the ICE Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral action.

University of Genoa will be coordinator organization of ICE joint doctoral programme providing relevant expertise both in the management of international cooperation activities and in the enhancement of the PhD candidates’ educational track, especially in view of the future academic and/or professional career. In particular, University of Genoa itself will play a key role in the project.
